Nomination Papers for the 6/11/24 Municipal Election are now available.
The Papers are available for the following offices:
Select Board (three year term)
Town Clerk (one year term)
Tax Collector (one year term)
School Committee (three year term)
Town Owned Property Management Board (three year term)
Cemetery District Trustee (three year term)
Completed Papers are due back to the office by end of the business day Thursday 4/11/2024.
ROADS UPDATE: Certain town roads have now been posted for heavy loads. Please be advised that posted roads have a weight limit of 23,000 lbs.
Disaster Declaration for the January 9-13 storms
As you may have heard, a disaster declaration was signed by the President for the storm damage that occurred in January 9-13. Please click here for more information and to take you to Sagadahoc County’s webpage for information on how to apply for assistance.
The Town Office
The Town Office is open to the public, Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm. We take lunch from 12-1. Appointments will no longer be available but if you’re uncomfortable visiting the office in person, we can still offer services by phone and drop box. If you choose to visit the office, please wait your turn in the lobby if there’s already someone at the desk in the office.
The Town Office is located at 50 Bay Point Road. To send mail the Town Office please use the following address: PO Box 436, Georgetown, ME 04548.
